We aim to prove that it’s possible for Britain to grow plenty of its own food without the need for imports – from beef, chickens and eggs, to broccoli, carrots, apples and walnuts
We want to reduce food miles, border hold-ups, transport pollution and the time between picking and eating, by selling locally from our farm about 1.2 miles from the centre of Stroud
Our food will be more delicious and more nutritious because we look after our soil without using artificial chemicals
Unlike big, technology-dependent farms, our small enterprises create jobs and apprenticeship opportunities for people, not machines
We recognise the price challenge that comes with farming in harmony with nature, and we are committed to producing delicious food that is affordable
We supply seasonal vegetables year round, high quality meat and tallow from our own herd, nutritious eggs from our flock, pasture-raised organic chickens, and local cheese, preserves and flours. Click here for more info and to sign up to a weekly or fortnightly box.
We can be found at local markets around Stroud, stocking seasonal organic veg, chicken, Pasture for Life beef, tallow and offal, free range organic eggs, herb pots, native broadleaf trees, kimchi, soups and other local, organic artisanal goods. Click here for our current schedule.
We work with a range of cafés, farm shops and cookery schools who are passionate about sourcing local, agroecologically grown food. We harvest fresh and can deliver to Stroud and the surrounding area. If you are interested in learning more, please get in touch here.
Regenerative farming actively improves what we have rather than sustaining things as they are. We don’t use artificial fertilisers, pesticides, fungicides or herbicides.
We are committed to resilience through diversity: planting lots of different crops and looking after a range of animals. Above all, we aim to have a positive impact on the environment through sound ecological practices that help to regenerate our soils, community and health – while also being profitable.
