Marketing and Events Co-ordinator
Location: Stroud, Gloucestershire
Hours: 15-20 hours per week

About Us
We are a small, mixed regenerative organic farm less than a mile outside of Stroud. We’re passionate about producing delicious food for local humans and doing it all whilst enjoying what we do and who we’re with. The farm is made up of several ‘producing’ enterprises. We have a market garden, a Pasture for Life beef herd, laying hens and broilers, fruit and nut orchards and an organic nursery. The trading enterprise works collaboratively across all of the producing enterprises and is responsible for getting our products into the hands of our customers.
Role Overview
The marketing and events co-ordinator will be responsible for the intersection between our farm operations and customers. Days will be spent developing the customer base (increasing subscribers to our veg boxes, developing our network of awesome caterers and cafés), curating on-farm events and overseeing all marketing channels and campaigns. You will work closely with the farm manager to understand the range of delicious products we have available throughout the year, collaboratively developing campaigns to boost our customer base in the Stroud area. On-farm events are another key aspect of the role and an area that we are keen to develop further, aiming to curate a range of events from open days, farm feasts and plant sales.
Key Responsibilities
- Recruiting new customers across all sales channels
- Monitoring customer experience
- Overseeing our website communications
- Curating and delivering on farm events, e.g. farm feasts
- Delivering ongoing marketing campaigns
- Improving communication around our excellent produce
- Engagement and reactivation of old customers

Person Specification
Essential
- Friendly, confident communicator, both written and verbal, who enjoys customer interaction
- Experience in event management
- Comfortable using a range of computer systems (Brevo, Eventbright, Google Suite, Ooooby)
- Reliable, punctual and organised.
- Passionate about regenerative food and local farming.
- Able to work independently and take initiative.
Desirable
- Experience in markets, retail, hospitality, food or farming.
- Knowledge of fruit, veg or organic produce.

Saturday Market Stall Holder & Delivery Assistant

Hours: 1.5 days part time, Friday – Saturday (with potential for additional day on Thursday)

Role Overview
This is a varied and practical customer facing role for someone who enjoys working with people, handling produce, and keeping operations running smoothly. You will be responsible for running small weekday markets, managing and organising our main Saturday market stall at Stroud Farmers’ Market, assisting with deliveries, and supporting veg-box packing.
You’ll be the face of the farm at markets – friendly, organised, reliable and happy working in all weathers. You’ll also help ensure our produce reaches customers, shops and restaurants in great condition.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up, run and pack down mid-week markets at various locations across Stroud district.
- Manage and lead the Saturday market stall at Stroud Farmers’ Market alongside a market support staff member.
- Ensure the stall looks professional, clean and well-presented.
- Provide warm, helpful customer service and product knowledge.
- Handle cash and card payments accurately.
- Keep track of stock levels and communicate restock needs.
- Maintain food hygiene and safety standards at all times.
- Deliver wholesale orders and food box orders.
- Conduct basic vehicle checks.
- Assist with packing veg boxes and market orders.
- Sort and grade produce according to quality standards.
- Label, pack and organise orders efficiently.
- Help maintain a clean, organised packing area.
